UHS Branding Campaign - Johnny House Mascot
I had the pleasure of creating a brand new face for University Housing Services. My team and I created a fictional house character named Johnny House. With the campus-wide redesign campaign we had started, one of our main goals was to create a fun, welcoming, and easily recognizable face for UHS.
From the initial idea and sketches, here you will see the process of making Johnny House come alive in various posters, flyers, banners and much more.
The next step of our branding campaign was to create more characters that corresponded to each dorm building on campus. We wanted to keep the art style cohesive and easily graspable. With my cartoon illustration background, I found that this bubbly upbeat style fit our vision the best. This way if there were important information about a certain dorm building, the corresponding character would be the one to advoate.
Instagram Works
I created a few works for the University Housing Services Instagram page. I incorporated the characters we had come up with in each post. We wanted a one-stop place to get all the information you would need as a new campus resident.
Printed Media - Flyers, A-Frames, Promotional, Banners, etc.
Here are pictures of my work for UHS all over campus. These printed items would be seen by thousands of students and staff who lived or commuted to Cal Poly Pomona. Our goal was not only to inform but make sure when they saw these designs they instantly knew that it was University Housing and could not be mistaken for any other affiliation on campus.

3D Dorm Rooms - Created in Blender 3D
During my time at UHS, I was able to show off my newfound passion for 3D modeling and rendering. Here are the three types of dorm rooms that you would find at Cal Poly Pomona. This would also be on the housing website so future students would have more of an idea of each dorm's layout.
